Verizon FiOS Boosting Speeds

Verizon FiOS has been boosting speeds for its Fios fiber-optic service that connects directly to homes. This results from Verizon customers using more bandwidth for applications such as video downloading and photo sharing.

There is a huge appetite for bandwidth which shows no sign of slowing down. All Fios customers will now have access to download speeds of 50 megabits per second and uploads of 20 Mbps. Verizon FIOS is offering these speeds in certain markets such as Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York as well as their entire customer base.

People want speed and bandwidth and the service that delivers with reliability will win. It is a competitive industry but Verizon FiOS is gaining marketshare with their aggressive marketing plan and reliable service.
