Verizon FiOS look at 100 MBPS Service

Verizon FiOS has stated that the company is preparing to roll out 100 Mbps service next year for its all fiber-optic network. The 100 Mbps service will be coming next year.

Verizon FiOS has been running beta trials to a few users for at least a year now. The switch to greater speed will greatly increase home bandwidth consumption.

A few years ago, noone was asking for 100 Mbps, but these days, a call for higher speeds is widespread and in demand. 2009 will be an exciting year for Verizon FiOS.
