Verizon FiOS - 1 Million Subscribers and Climbing

Verizon FiOS has well over 1 million subscribers and continues to add users at an alarming rate. Verizon has been contructing its fiber-optic network for several years now. The all fiber network delivers nearly unlimited bandwidth which means it can serve a multitude of services with amazing speed and reliability.

Other cable companies use a copper network where Verizon uses an all-fiber network which will allow its marketshare to grow significantly. Also, you can't compare the speed and reliability that a fiber-optic network offers. This network promoted speed and bandwidth and every consumer will love that.

By the year 2010, Verizon FiOS expects to have over 7 million customers and I see that number only growing with time. The implementation of an all fiber network will change the industry for the better. And many of the cable companies and ISPs will have to improve their networks to compete with the speed, accuracy and reliability that Verizon FiOS offers.
